  1. 🙂 This makes me think of something that happened here this year. We made some tree stump planters this year out of an old dead Maple tree that my dad cut down that was hollow inside. And when we set them up, my husband took a branch of another tree and used it for stakes to run down the middle of them, to keep the tree stump planters steady. (We didn’t want to run the chance of something knocking them over and them becoming rolling missiles headed off our hill to my parents home/vehicles. LOL) Anyway, the stakes started growing into trees. I thought that was odd since it was just a chopped up branch on both ends. I know what tree it is, I just don’t know the name of it. (It looks similar to the Mimosa tree, but isn’t a Mimosa.) But they are no more now, as we later filled them with potting soil to plant in.
